Long-Range Planning Goals

          
The Long-Range Planning Ministry Team, Session, Northwoods’ Staff, and other Ministry Teams evaluated Northwoods current environment and the status of the current Northwoods Long-Range Plan. The following Northwoods Long-Range Planning vision statement and short term goals were established in October 2011 based upon that evaluation.

Northwoods is a growing, dynamic and engaging church

 
Short Term Goals:
     Revitalize Northwoods Youth Program
     Attract Younger Families
     Make Northwoods more inviting & attractive
     Promote Northwoods in the TC Jester Corridor

The short-term goals address the more immediate priorities identified during the evaluation of Northwoods’ current environment. The Long-Range Planning vision statement and short term goals promote Northwoods as an invitational church and fully reinforce Northwoods Mission Statement:

The short-term goals are a cooperative effort among all Northwoods’ ministry teams. In addition to the vision statement and short-term goals, the standing ministry teams developed ministry team objectives to support the goals. Please select the link below to review the standing ministry teams’ objectives supporting the short- term goals.

Living Northwoods Mission Statement and realizing the successful completion of these goals and objectives will require dedicated efforts by Northwoods’ Staff, Session, Ministry Teams, members and participants. All individuals are encouraged to contact the Staff, Session, Ministry Team leaders or the LRPMT members with other ideas that will facilitate the accomplishment of Northwoods’ short-term goals.
